What I'm Reading: March 2013
I have to say guys, I've read these books before, in 2006. I've had these books for 7 years now! And yes, I do plan to read them again! I'm sure these books are classified as "young adult fiction" and I'm sure some people will look down on me reading them. I'm almost 23 and I like books with pictures. There, I said it. I believe, no matter what, these books will make you happy. Lisa Barham does an amazing job in making Imogene feel like she's a friend of mine. I relate so well to the characters and am sadden when I finish the book and remember that they aren't real. I highly suggest picking these books up for a good read!

Things I Love: iPhone Cases
I love that there are so many options for stylish iPhone cases these days! Let it be known that I do not have a fancy case. I had an OtterBox. The two variations of teal, loved it. The only thing that I didn't like about it was the fact that I kept tearing the outside of it! I now have a LifeProof case. If I weren't so clumsy and if my phone would stop throwing itself out of my hand, I would have a fancy case. I do love my LifeProof case though. It's water, dirt, shock, and freeze proof! But if I were to get a nice phone case, these are the four that I would choose from!

My Favorite Smokey Eye Tutorials
On Saturday, I will be attending a charity ball benefiting an organization that works to end child abuse. I couldn't be more excited to see all of the hard work for such a meaningful event! I have my gown picked out, pictures to come later, but I'm in serious need of some makeup inspiration. Because the theme of the ball is Germany's Black Forest, I wanted to go with a smokey eye because it would go along with the dark and mysterious theme of the event! After much browsing on YouTube, I have compiled my favorite smokey eye tutorials! I'll let you know which one I'm choosing for this weekend at the bottom!

First let me say, I love all of these ladies and their tutorials. I'm subscribed to all three, and watch their videos regularly. So I feel like by picking one to wear, I'm breaking up with the other two. Even though they don't know me, I know it's weird.
With all that being said, the look that I'm going to attempt to recreate on Saturday is the Brown Smokey Eye Tutorial from MissMavendotcom. She only uses two shadow colors! Super quick and easy!
Again, I love all of these tutorials and hope to recreate the other tow very soon!

Pinterest Favorites
Whenever I find myself needing any amount of inspiration, be it little or huge, I turn to Pinterest! Pinterest is beyond amazing for inspiration. I know I've said it before, but you can literally find almost anything on there! There are so many categories to browse through and endless amounts of pins. I could really make pinning my job. Things I Love: Owl Jewelry
I'm pretty sure my obsession with owls is genetic. My dad collects them. He has owl figures from all over the world. He has one painting that he refuses to sell because of his love for it. My love for owls didn't start until about 2 years ago. I love them. Everything about the is just so adorable! I have 3 rings, 2 pairs of earrings, and a necklace that have owls on them! Pinterest Favorites
Do you ever spend hours pinning? I do. There have been nights when B and I are watching a movie and instead of actually watching, I'm on Pinterest! I'm obsessed. Recently, due to my health and the lack of food I can eat, I've been pinning a ton of food I can't eat. It serves as a "one day when I'm all better I can eat that!" motivation.
