HUGE Announcement: I'm Engaged!

Hi. Hello. Long time, no blog. How are you? Good? Me too. Why you might ask... Well, Briam and I are officially engaged! OMGoodness!!!! 

I'm so freaking excited. I could not be happier than I am right now. It was so sweet, simple, and unexpected. I feel more in love with him now than I did when we were just BF and GF. I don't know if that sounds silly, but it's how I feel. We do have a date, November 15, 2017. So far away, right? Well that's because I'm going for my MBA next year and we wanted to wait until after I graduate to get married. And that also gives me ample time to plan the most beautiful, perfect wedding! And guess what? You guys get to come along with me during the whole thing! 

My whole heart is happy. I've waited almost 7 years for this. And it's finally here. 

I hope you all can join me on this journey (one of many I seem to be taking) and can gain inspiration and happiness. I love you all and am so happy to be sharing this special moment in my life with you!

Friday Favorites - Brunch Is Always A Good Idea

Favorite Sunday Sweater: Brunch by DentzDesign 

I seriously need this sweater. I love brunch, and I love mimosas. I found this on Etsy in the DentzDesign shop! You can find this sweater here, and some other pretty cool stuff as well. 

Side note: The Wine Dive in West Palm Beach, FL has the best brunch I've ever had. And they have $10 bottomless mimosas. Get on a plane, in a car, or on your bike, and GO! 

Favorite Summer Earrings: Studded Anchors on Luulla 

If you know me, then you know I love anything related to boats. Seriously though. And how beautiful are these earrings! You can make them casual or dressy! Either way, always chic! I found them on Luulla, here! Right now it says that they are not available, but I love them so much I might just contact the seller and see what's going on! 

Favorite Summer Mani: Bright Polka Dot Tips

I truly enjoy scrolling through the beauty boards on Pinterest! They give me so much inspiration. I found this mani and decided it was the perfect summer mani! And honestly if you just switched up the colors, it could work for any season! And you could make it your own by changing the colors of the polka dots! Found here on Pinterest! 

Favorite Wedding Reception Treat: Rainbow Macaroons

How gorgeous is this? I'm a fan of a good macaroon and this just beats the cake! (See what I did there?) This would be perfect for the reception or even a brief cocktail hour while all the pictures are being taken! I just can't get over how pretty it is! Found on Style Me Pretty, here.

I love weddings. Not only am I beyond happy for the blissful couple, but it makes marriage seem more real for Briam and I. Because the wedding was for a good friend of his, I think it makes him see that settling down and "putting a ring on it." I gave up the idea of getting married at Disney just because the price would be outrageous. A girl can dream though! I still consider myself a princess because one day I'll marry my prince. 

Well that's enough of me babbling about my fairy tale ending, let's get into this look! For the wedding I wore a beautiful midi dress from Anthropologie, some jewels from Chloe + Isabel, and shoes from Charlotte Russe. No need for a purse, that's what I have Briam for!
