Beauty Review: Korres Lip Butter Glazes

Ready for a new beauty review? Well then here ya go! Today I am reviewing the Korres Lip Butter Glazes. The 4 flavors/colors that I have are Jasmine, Pomegranate, Quine, and Raspberry. You can find them at Korresusa.com for $14 each. I genuinely loves these lip butters and use them all often. The Quince and Raspberry colors are perfect for fall, but you could wear them any time of the year. Check out the pictures down below and the video to hear all of my comments about this product!

Makeup Tutorial: I Can't, I'm Sick... (How To Look Socially Acceptable When Sick)

If you read my last post (here) you know that I have been pretty under the weather recently. And sometimes when you're sick, you have to leave your house. Well yesterday I was in serious need of some groceries, but I looked like a zombie. So I did what any other ordinary 24 year old would do, I did a makeup tutorial! Because, why not?

So the whole concept behind my makeup tutorial was that I looked like a giant sack of potatoes and did not want to look like said potatoes. So I pulled myself together, put big girl clothes on, pulled my hair back, and made my face look socially acceptable!

Beauty Basics: How To Fix A Broken Eyeshadow

So a while ago I was filming my makeup collection video...and tragedy struck. As I was pulling out the eye makeup drawer, I dropped it. Makeup went flying everywhere. Everything was fine, all survived, except for 2 eyeshadows. And instead of throwing them out or getting upset, I decided I was going to fix them. It took me a while to get around to it, but I finally did it, and I'm going to show you how!

What You'll Need:
1. A broken eyeshadow or other powder item
2. Rubbing alcohol
3. Crushing utensil
4. Baby wipe (optional)

How To Do It:
1. Taking your crushing utensil, finish crushing your broken eyeshadow (or compact, blush, etc) and turn it into a loose powder product.

2. Being very careful with your rubbing alcohol, add just enough to turn the loose powder into a paste. Depending on the size of your item, you will need more or less than I used.

3. Using your crushing utensil, mix the powder and the rubbing alcohol together until the consistency is smooth and the top is relatively flat.

4. Let your item dry completely before using. At least 2 hours, but more is recommend for added safety. You don't want to put any residue of rubbing alcohol on your face, especially your eyes!

5. Once your item is dry, use a baby wipe to clean up the edges. This is optional, but I figured I might as well start my newly fixed eyeshadow as fresh as possible!
