Splurge and Save: Valentine's Day Edition

This 'splurge and save' post is all about, you guessed it, Valentine's Day! Three more days! If you plan on going out on Thursday, unlike me and B, you want to look fabulous! Amongst the mass amounts of people, preset menus, and overly done decor, you plan on standing out! But that doesn't mean you need to spend a fortune! I've put together a classy look that will save you over $900! With those kind of savings, you could buy your significant other, or yourself a pretty nice present!

Things I Love: JustFab Shoes

JustFab.com is an absolutely amazing website with the most perfect shoes! There are some months, between school, work, the website, and life, I don't have time to pick up essential shoes. JustFab offers a wide range of shoes for only $39.95 a month. Considering that most of these shoes are worth at least $80, that's not too bad. The sizing has been the same for me with all of the shoes that I've gotten. I'm measured a 7.5 and I keep purchasing 8's. I'm sure the 7.5 would fit, but I have wide feet so I give myself that extra .5 size for comfort. I love all of their shoes, but I'm mostly obsessed with the boots. Splurge and Save

Umm over $3,00 for a dress?? No thanks. I'll take the simpler, less budget crushing dress. Although the shoes are comparable in price, this just shows you that you can still save a little bit of money! There's only a $20 difference, but those $20 can go a long way! Now with the dress, I understand that the splurge dress is probably hand crafted with the finest materials that took a year to make. But why? In my opinion, it looks like they threw on some confetti and called it a day. The save dress is way more versatile and $3,193 cheaper. 

Fun fact: The splurge dress with sell in a hot second in the ballroom world. Having been to a few competitions, as a retailer, I've seen plenty of dresses like this that cost just as much if not more.

Things I Love: Coach Handbags

When it comes to handbags, the biggest two factors in my purchase are quality and functionality. Will this bag last for quite some time? How often will I use this bag? Will this bag stand up to my wear and tear? Does this bag have enough room for my everyday things? Could I use this bag for school? These are just a few items on my checklist when investing in a hefty purchase like these Coach bags. The four bags below are my favorites, meeting a high percentage on my checklist for quality and functionality!

Shopping Tip: Check around to see if you have a Coach Outlet in or around your area! I have one about 45 minutes north of me. I got an amazing deal on a large tote! It was originally $298 and I got it for, after a 20% off coupon and outlet discount, $115. My bag was discounted by $183! Although the $115 was still an investment for me, it was completely worth the money!

Why spend over $1,000 on an outfit when you can get a similar one for less than $200? Recently, so many affordable stores have upped the quality of their merchandise in order to compete with the high end stores! I couldn't be more over the moon about this! I'm ALL about quality, but I don't want to watch my bank account dwindle away or my credit card debt skyrocket. Now knowing that I can go shopping, say at Target or Charlotte Russe, and get amazing quality for an amazing price, I'm beyond myself with excitement!

Things I Love: Bows
